We are getting very close to Constellation! Artist collective Non Solo are flying and driving in from NYC. Zines are being cataloged wildly. Projects are being finished, flyers distributed, and excitement turning to frenzy.

Check out our participants and events lists. Print out a flyer. Prepare to eat good food, meet your neighbors, brainstorm and scheme, and have so much fun next weekend!

Pool House Yard, a project that is part of Constellation, has its own website up and running, detailing all the events they have happening throughout the weekend. They are located in the Seward neighborhood at 2219 26th Ave S. Check out their site for complete info, including a call for submissions for movie screenings and a cake making contest!

We are really excited about all the amazing art installations, music shows, community gatherings and more that are under production right now! Friday May 27-Sunday May 29. South Minneapolis.

Constellation is a show that opens up domestic spaces for public cultural events. The show is focused on garages and backyards but could include domestic spaces like porches, cars, apartments or balconies. We are interested in the way our art is an integral part of our daily lives, neighborhoods, and self-made communities.

Besides visual art, we are imagining bands in back yards, performance, food, etc. A traveling dinner party with different courses at different houses. A bike tour during the day between the different locations. A swapping/trading post/free sale (since it’s high garage sale season). We imagine things taking place throughout the day and night, not just during regular art opening hours!
